BORDER TOWN, USA — A Honduran migrant illegally present in the United States has been arrested by the Nashville Metro Police Department for the second time in one week in connection with two separate Nashville murders. Police announced the arrest on Tuesday of Kevin Castro-Garcia, who is suspected of murdering of 37-year-old Elmer Nahum Miranda-Martinez. On Friday, CASTRO-Garcia was charged with a second homicide involving the murder of Brandon Rivas-Noriega, reported missing earlier this month.

Stiff Sentences Given for Five Human Smuggling Stash House Operators

Five men in the Rio Grande Valley received prison sentences ranging from 16 to 30 years each for their roles in a human smuggling stash house kidnapping scheme. The men stole the human cargo from a stash house and then demanded the victims call family members to pay a ransom for their release. Two other previously deported illegal aliens also received sentences in the case.

Border patrol and union officials were able to provide full honors to one of their agents who was killed trying to protect his family from two criminal illegal aliens. The honors came after a two-year fight by Border Patrol union officials and leaders of Congress to have the agent’s death classified as a line of duty death.
