President-elect Donald Trump, named Time’s “Person of the Year,” opened the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday with much fanfare.

President-elect Donald Trump is slated to be named TIME magazine’s “Person of the Year,” according to a report.

Time magazine announced on Wednesday that it had chosen Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky its person of the year for 2022, calling it an obvious choice in light of the head of state’s ubiquity and his ability to “galvanize the world” around his cause.

Much to the chagrin of his left-wing critics, TIME magazine surpassed all expectations on Monday when the notoriously woke publication selected the refreshingly non-woke billionaire Elon Musk as 2021’s “Person of the Year.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been nominated to be Time magazine’s “Person of the Year.”

A documentary chronicling the rise of 16-year-old climate alarmist Greta Thunberg is set to premiere on Hulu in 2020. The film, which is currently going by the working title, Greta, will follow Thunberg from her August 2018 school strike in Stockholm to her lecturing world leaders.

Time selected “The Guardians and the War on Truth” — a group of imprisoned and killed journalists — as the magazine’s 2018 “person of the year.”

TIME Magazine announced its shortlist of ten potential picks for its 2018 “Person of the Year” on NBC’s Today Monday morning, featuring Christine Blasey Ford and illegal alien families separated at the border as some of the options.

Trump was named Person of the Year in 2016 but said on Twitter that he would not participate in the contest this year.

New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard took to Twitter to poke the president.

“Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named ‘Man (Person) of the Year,’ like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot,” he said. “I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!”
