Netflix Docuseries ‘Immigration Nation’ Depicts ICE Agents as Cruel and Callous

Netflix has released the first trailer for “Immigration Nation,” which is set to debut August 3 on the streamer. The trailer is replete with scenes of crying children being torn from the arms of their parents. Not shown are MS-13 gang members, drug dealers, and the numerous violent illegal aliens who are arrested each year for crimes including murder and rape.

Netflix Reports Disastrous Second Quarter as Subscriptions Fall Short

Far-left Netflix had a disastrous second quarter that saw new subscriptions fall short of expectations, causing shares of the streaming entertainment company to plummet by as much as 12 percent in after-hours trading on Thursday. The company cited growing competition from TikTok, the Chinese-owned video app that is hugely popular with Gen Z.

Netflix Commits $100 Million to Support Black Communities

Video streaming giant Netflix has reportedly committed $100 million to support black communities in the United States. The company plans to commit 2 percent of its cash holdings to black financial institutions and will also donate to a fund to “support financing to more than 2,500 entrepreneurs, homebuyers and consumers of color.”

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings to Donate $120 Million to United Negro College Fund, Historically Black Colleges

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and his wife Patty Quillin announced on Wednesday that they are donating $120 million to the United Negro College Fund and two historically black colleges in response to the death of George Floyd. According to Hastings, “We wanted to do our part to draw attention, in this case, to the HBCU’s 150 years of resilience, of educating young Black people and the stories not well understood in the white community.”
