2 Years Ago: Previously Deported Illegal Aliens Murder Border Patrol Agent

Officials of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) are marking the 2nd Anniversary of the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Javier Vega, Jr. by pushing a petition to the White House. The petition asks that Vega’s death be classified as being in the line of duty. Vega was allegedly murdered by 2 previously deported illegal aliens who were attempting to rob him and his family who were fishing in the countryside.

One of 50 in Smuggled Group, Salvadoran Child Dies After Crossing the Rio Grande

An 11-year-old Salvadoran child who was part of a very large group of women and children that had just crossed the Rio Grande into Texas died from heat related complications. The smuggling action attempt took place in 100+ degree heat Thursday evening right under the Anzalduas International Bridge when more than 50 immigrants were caught by U.S. Border Patrol Agents.

Armored Blackhawks Arrive at Texas Border

Armored Blackhawk helicopters have arrived at the Texas border with Mexico in response to the recent attack on a U.S. helicopter from Mexican soil. As Breitbart Texas first reported, a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helicopter was participating in stopping a well-organized drug trafficking effort that involved individuals on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Shots were fired from the Mexican side on the CBP helicopter and it was forced down after sustaining damage.

BP Agent to Texas Senate: ‘Texas Must Take an Aggressive Stance Against Criminal Organizations’

AUSTIN, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol Agent Hector Garza testified before the Texas Senate Subcommittee on Border Security in support of creating a multi-state border security compact. Garza told the Senators that Texas must take an aggressive stance against the organizaed criminal enterprises that are smuggling thousands of illegal immigrants into the United States. The bill, SB 1252 by Senator Bob Hall (R-Edgewood), would require the Governor of Texas to negotiate an Interstate Border Security Compact to allow states to enforce federal immigration law.

Breitbart Texas Sponsors National Border Patrol Council’s ‘The Green Line’ Podcast

Breitbart Texas announced it’s sponsorship of a podcast hosted by the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). The purpose of the podcast, titled “The Green Line,” is to improve communications to its nearly 17,000 non-supervisory Border Patrol agents. Breitbart News Co-Founder Larry Solov and Breitbart Texas Managing Director Brandon Darby and reporter Ildefonso Ortiz traveled to Phoenix to meet with the Border Patrol union officials and launch this effort to support the agents who put their lives on the line to protect the sovereignty of this country.
