Migrant Got-Away

Police arrested Alberto Martinez-Fidel in connection to a shooting that took place Sunday morning in Montgomery, Alabama. Martinez is accused of causing serious bodily injury to another resident of the city after shooting him in the back and buttocks.

Border Patrol agents assigned to the southwest border with Mexico apprehended more than 187,000 migrants during October — the first month of the new fiscal year. A source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection stated another 30,000 migrants were reported as “known gotaways.”

Border Patrol officials report that more than 18,000 migrants are known to have crossed the border without being apprehended during the first 16 days of FY24. During that same period, dozens of “Special Interest Aliens” from countries known to have ties to terrorism were apprehended. These two reports beg the question of just how many “Special Interest Aliens” are included in the gotaways.

Border Patrol officials estimate approximately 590,000 migrants got away without being apprehended after illegally crossing the border. This estimate, described as “extremely conservative,” represents about a seven percent increase over the same period last year.

Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 182,000 migrants during the month of April — the last full month of the CDC’s Title 42 migrant expulsion program. The latest report from CBP confirms Breitbart Texas’ article on May 3 revealing the third straight month of increased apprehensions along the border.

Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 31,000 migrants during the past 72 hours as the end of the CDC’s Title 42 approaches at midnight on May 11. In addition, another 7,300 migrants are known to have gotten away without being apprehended at the border.

U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted on Monday that 26,382 migrants crossed the border between ports of entry during the past three days. An additional 7,399 crossed and managed to avoid apprehension.

Border Patrol agents in the Swanton Sector apprehended approximately 700 migrants who crossed the Canadian border into the U.S. in March. The record-shattering migrant apprehensions in March represent a more than 1000 percent increase over the previous year when agents apprehended 61 migrants.

Agents in the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector reported that more than 6,000 migrants were apprehended or known to have crossed the border illegally and got away. During the month of March, agents apprehended a total of about 24,000 migrants and reported nearly 11,000 got-aways.

A Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas shows that more than 400,000 migrants are classified as known got-aways during the first six months of Fiscal Year 2023. The report shows more than 60,000 got-aways in March.

The number of migrants known to have entered the United States illegally without being apprehended jumped in February, according to a Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas. Got-aways jumped from about 48,000 in January to nearly 51,000 in February.

AUSTIN, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott told Breitbart Texas that the state’s border security mission is saving lives across the nation by seizing fentanyl that slipped past Border Patrol and CBP. Operation Lone Star saved more lives by stopping nearly 25,000 criminal aliens from making their way into the U.S. interior, according to the state.

Migrant got-aways along the southwest border with Mexico dropped significantly in January, according to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Border Patrol officials estimate the number of got-aways fell to 48,000 during the fourth month of the fiscal year.

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 7,000 migrants along the Texas border with Mexico last week. In addition, another 3,400 migrants got away without being apprehended.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers assigned to Operation Lone Star are making headway in reducing the number of migrant got-aways making their way into the U.S. interior. Troopers track down migrants making their way through ranches located as far as 80-100 miles away from the Mexican border in addition to those being smuggled in vehicles, rail cars, and tractor-trailers.

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 10,000 migrants during the past week. Officials estimate more than 4,000 more got away without being apprehended.

Border Patrol agents apprehended a record-setting 2.2 million migrants who illegally crossed the southwest border with Mexico, according to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In addition, the unofficial year-end numbers show an estimate of nearly 604,000 migrant got-aways.

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) observed more than 1,000 migrant got-aways during a flight over the Del Rio Sector, a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed. The Del Rio Sector averaged approximately 1,700 apprehended migrants per day in August.

More than 476,000 migrants eluded apprehension by the Border Patrol this fiscal year, according to a source within Customs and Border Protection. The total already eclipses the 389,000 got-aways from FY2021.

More than a half-million migrants illegally crossed the southwest border with Mexico during a 10-week period ending on May 15. The record-setting mass migration crisis is overwhelming Border Patrol and NGO resources as they deal with the chaotic level of border crossings.

Roughly 364,000 migrants eluded apprehension by the Border Patrol this fiscal year, which ends in September, according to a source within Customs and Border Protection. Nearly 60,000 got-aways were recorded in April alone.

Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 1.9 million migrants who illegally crossed the southwest border with Mexico between ports of entry during 2021. Another estimated half-million migrants managed to avoid apprehension and sneak into the U.S.

Border Patrol agents estimate more than 100,000 known migrant got-aways since the fiscal year began in October. A source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, speaking on the condition of anonymity, says the agency recorded 47,500 got-a-ways during the month of October. That is followed by an additional 52,000 got-aways in November. The source believes the increase in November means more than 600,000 migrant got-aways will be recorded this fiscal year if the trend continues.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said Border Patrol agents estimateda one-to-one ratio of apprehensions to got-aways among border-crossing migrants.

The number of migrants crossing the border without being apprehended soared to more than 340,000 migrants so far this Fiscal Year 2021, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection source. This figure represents an estimate of the total number of migrants believed to have escaped into the U.S. interior without capture or apprehension by Border Patrol agents.

Mark Morgan, former acting CBP commissioner, said Democrats plan to include an amnesty proposal within ostensibly infrastructure-focused bill.

President Joe Biden and his deputies have allowed more than 600,000 migrants to come across the porous southern border in just six months since his January inauguration.

A law enforcement source within Customs and Border Protection says more than 185,000 migrants escaped Border Patrol apprehension so far this fiscal year. On average, more than 30,000 illegal aliens avoided capture in the last 22 days the source said.
