Asylum seekers who attempt to illegal enter Australia by boat will never be allowed back into the country, even if they legally apply for refugee status or come as a tourist decades later.
So-called refugees who seek to enter Australia via people trafficker networks are self-harming and filing false claims in an effort to cross the border, Minister for Immigration Peter Dutton said.
