On Friday U.S. District Judge Murray Snow found Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in contempt of court regarding racial profiling practices. Snow ruled that Arpaio “and three of his top aides violated an order meant to curtail racial profiling in his agency.”
On September 15 the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit rejected a request to disqualify U.S. District Judge Murray Snow from overseeing a racial-profiling case against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
On August 7, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s attorneys asked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to prevent U.S, District Judge Murray Snow from overseeing a racial profiling case against Arpaio due to Snow’s alleged personal disdain for the Sheriff.
Breitbart News previously reported that on April 24 Judge Murray Snow both refused to recuse himself from a “racial-profiling” case involving Sheriff Joe Arpaio and ordered US Mashals to go to Arpaio’s office to seize documents and hard drives.
On July 24, U.S. District Judge Murray Snow refused to recuse himself from a “racial-profiling” case against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is conducting his own investigation of the judge.
