‘Fortnite’ Developer Epic Games Scores Partial Victory Against Apple

‘Fortnite’ Maker Sues Apple After Game Banned from App Store

Epic Games, the company behind the massively popular game Fortnite, filed a lawsuit against Apple on Thursday after the Silicon Valley giant removed the game from its App Store, preventing players from accessing the games on iPhone and iPad devices. Epic released an ad after the banning which claims: “Epic Games has defied the App Store Monopoly. In retaliation, Apple is blocking Fortnite from a billion devices. Analyst: Apple Will Introduce Phone with No Charging Port in 2021

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated in a new investor note that Apple plans to introduce four new OLED iPhone models in 2020 and a new iPhone with no lightning port in 2021, which will “provide the completely wireless experience.” The Lightning port, the only port on most newer iPhones, is used for charging or connecting accessories like headphones.
