The New York Times Paid No Taxes in 2014

The New York Times revealed that Donald Trump declared a $916 million loss in 1995 that might have resulted in him not paying taxes in some subsequent years. But the Times itself has “avoided” paying taxes — in 2014, for example.

Why I Will Only Sit on Straight White Male Panels from Now On

As I sit here on a private beach, tended to by lithe young Nubian wait staff outside my luxury apartment complex on the island of Malta, I have come to a stunning realisation. The primary victim of the third-wave feminist matriarchy is… me!

Obama Writes Personal Letters to 46 Felons; No Contact with Kathryn Steinle’s Family

Nearly two weeks after 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle was murdered on San Francisco’s Pier 14 by an illegal alien and convicted felon who was released from prison earlier this year, President Barack Obama has failed to contact the victim’s family or mention her in public. Yet Obama took the time to write (and release) 46 personal letters this month to felons imprisoned for non-violent drug offenses whose sentences he has commuted.

Hypocrites: L.A. Labor Wants Exemption from $15 Min. Wage

Labor leaders, who insisted for most of the last year that no exemptions should be allowed when instituting a minimum wage hike for the City of Los Angeles, have changed their tune now that the Los Angeles City Council approved the hike to $15 last week, asserting that companies whose employees are unionized should be exempted from the forced wage hike.

Obama’s Pathetic Hypocrisy on Trade

By now, it is beyond cliché to point out the many ways in which President Barack Obama abandons his former positions when they become politically inconvenient. His reversal on free trade, however, stands out because it is the one reversal that faces significant opposition from within his own party, and specifically from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Recently Obama said that “Elizabeth is a politician just like everybody else.” That would, presumably, include Obama himself.

George Soros to Enjoy ‘Shared Sacrifice’ of Paying $6.7 Billion Tax

George Soros is often called the “Godfather of the Left” for supporting a worldwide network of progressive causes with over $550 million in donations. But the world’s 27th wealthiest person–according to Forbes–with a net worth of about $30 billion has allegedly used tax deferral to prevent paying any taxes on $13.3 billion profit. Now, according to an Irish regulatory filing by Soros, he will soon be enjoying the shared sacrifice of paying a 50 percent tax that will wipeout a quarter of his net worth.

CA Democrat Legislators Reject Being Enrolled In Obamacare

On Wednesday in the California State Assembly Rules Committee, Democrats defeated a bill that would have dropped state legislators from their taxpayer-funded premium healthcare plans and prodded them into Covered California, the state Obamacare exchange. The bill, authored by Assemblyman Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita), was defeated on a party-line vote–even though it would have reimbursed them for the cost of their new California Health Benefit Exchange plans.

Milbank Tries, and Fails, to Accuse Iran Deal Critics of Hypocrisy

If you still wonder why our nation’s politics are so divided, look no further than Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank’s half-witted attempt to accuse Republicans—and Israelis—of hypocrisy in opposing the Iran deal. The same neocons and Likudniks who opposed any Iran deal, Milbank says, now want to stick with the interim deal, or argue for a “better deal” than the one President Barack Obama is proposing. Conclusion: they are liars, warmongers, and above all, Obama-haters.

O ‘Progressive’: Thou Art the Man!

The “progressive” movement sustains itself on the idea that it is standing up against abuses of power by the wealthy and well-connected, that it defends the rights of the most vulnerable, that it stops special interests from taking over the state. And yet the “progressive” administration of Barack Obama has done all that, and more. It has not just committed ordinary hypocrisy, selling out its principles or breaking its promises: worse, it has often fulfilled them, blind to the consequences.

Hillary Clinton Brings Special Brand of Hypocrisy to Silicon Valley

The monumental hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton emerged full-blown on Tuesday as she spoke in Silicon Valley about “shocking” pay disparities between men and women. Speaking at the Lead On Watermark Conference for Women at the Santa Clara Convention Center before a crowd of 5,000 people, Clinton intoned that data on women’s pay inequity was “sobering” and “shocking,” according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

White House Caught in Lie over Netanyahu Speech

On Friday, White House spokesperson said that President Barack Obama would not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he visits Washington, D.C. in March due to a policy of not meeting with foreign leaders prior to their election campaigns, “to avoid the appearance of influencing a democratic election in a foreign country.” However, that excuse proves empty against the historical record, as Bill Clinton met then-Prime Minister Shimon Peres in 1996.

Palestinian Journalist Rips French President for Inviting Abbas

A Palestinian journalist has penned an open letter to French President François Hollande, protesting the fact that France invited Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to participate in last Sunday’s march in Paris against terror and in memory of the slain journalists of Charlie Hebdo. “Abbas is personally responsible for punishing Palestinian journalists who dare to criticize him or express their views in public,” the letter declares.

Warren’s Wealth Hypocrisy on Display

The hypocrisy of Elizabeth Warren is becoming more and more a matter of record. The same woman who said of the hate-the-rich Occupy Wall Street movement, “I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do. I support what they do,” is not only wealthy beyond the dreams of most Americans but is part of the very 1% that the Occupy Movement venomously vilifies.
