Professors at Catholic University Outraged over Screening of Pro-Life Movie ‘Unplanned’

Dozens of professors at King’s University College in Ontario, Canada, are outraged over the screening of the pro-life film, Unplanned. The professors believe the screening of the pro-life film will hinder the Catholic school’s efforts to recruit “excellent” students. The school’s principal responded by stating that while professors “do not need to prescribe to the tenets of the Catholic Church,” the Campus Ministry is still allowed to share its belief that life begins at conception.

Two More Venues Cancel Michelle Malkin Lecture in Maine

Two additional venues have canceled a lecture event featuring conservative commentator and author Michelle Malkin. The event was first moved to the Gendron Franco Center in Lewiston, Maine, after a local hotel to cancel the event as originally planned by a group of University of Maine students. Malkin’s second backup location has now also canceled her planned lecture.

Kellogg Community College Official Held ‘F*ck Trump’ Sign at Michigan Trump Rally

Jorge Zeballos, the chief equity and inclusion officer at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan, recently protested outside of a Donald Trump rally held near the college with a sign that read, “Fuck Trump.” One student commented on the incident, saying: “He has violated the very goals that are listed on the ‘Equity & Inclusion’ page of KCC’s website. His behavior, in no way, fosters or promotes civility and does not advance dialogue.”

Dickinson College Students Vote to Ban Israeli Hummus

Dickinson College students voted recently to suspend the sale of Sabra brand hummus at campus dining facilities after student protesters linked the Israel-based company to the Israeli Defense Force. Dickinson rejected the student’s vote, stating that it has not joined boycotts of Israel in the past and “reject the current call for boycott on the same grounds.”
