Barack Obama Endorses Gavin Newsom for Governor of California

Former Democratic President Barack Obama endorsed fellow Democrat Gavin Newsom for governor of California on Wednesday and praised him for being “the first to recognize the right to marry who you love” when he briefly legalized gay marriage in 2004, during his time as mayor of San Francisco.

Large Number of AZ Legislators Endorse Kelli Ward Over John McCain

Ward — a recently former state Senator in her own right — counted 17 endorsements from legislators and state leaders in the first major endorsement list of her campaign. That list includes almost a third of State Senators that have chosen to back Ward over the establishment candidate McCain.

Cornyn Won’t Endorse Cruz in Presidential Primary

Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) will not be endorsing Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in the Republican Presidential Primary. As Breitbart Texas reported, Cruz officially became 2016’s first Republican presidential candidate this week with a Tweet posted shortly after midnight Monday morning, followed by an announcement speech delivered at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Aaron Hernandez Worried About Endorsements

Testifying during the 10th day of the murder trial against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, Azia Jenkins, Hernandez’s fiancee’s uncle, said on Wednesday that when he spoke to the tight end the day after the death of Odin Lloyd, Hernandez ignored the murder and coolly said, “My endorsements are gone.”
