NATO Expels Half of Russia’s Mission, Accusing Them of Espionage

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on Wednesday expelled eight members of Russia’s mission, cutting it down to half size, and reduced the maximum size of the mission to 10 members from 20. NATO said the individuals it expelled were “undeclared Russian intelligence officers.”

Dubbed the “Pandora Papers,” the new trove of leaked confidential financial documents suggests dozens of world leaders and hundreds of public officials are stashing large sums of money in hidden bank accounts and secret investment projects.

China Blames Other Countries for Its Faulty Medical Equipment

Chinese state media on Tuesday deflected complaints about the poor quality of masks and coronavirus test kits shipped from China to other countries by insisting “quality concerns” are overblown and the “vast majority” are up to standards despite growing complaints to the contrary. The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) media organs blamed the countries that purchased Chinese supplies for using them improperly and cast aspersions on the foreign suppliers of raw materials to Chinese industry.
