ROMA, Texas — Five members of Mexico’s Gulf Cartel were arrested near this border city as they tried to illegally enter the country. The arrests took place this week when the group tried to cross the Rio Grande near the Mexican City of Miguel Aleman into this border city, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the 229th District Attorney’s office revealed.
Special police units in this border state seized two trucks modified with makeshift armor. The armored trucks are commonly used by cartel members operating near the Texas border.
Once again the government in this border state continues to manipulate information in order to minimize the scope of the violence and the true number of casualties left by the regular gun battles in this city.
