Photo: Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Drinking Out of Toilets’ Claim Drastically Falls Apart

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) visited migrant shelters in the El Paso area Monday and adamantly claimed that women were instructed to “drink out of toilets.” However, a recently surfaced photo shows what appears to be a basic detention center toilet unit with an attached sink and fountain, and an agent who was present at the time of the congresswoman’s visit added context to AOC’s remarks, casting doubts on her harrowing claims.

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents recovered three bodies of migrants during a two-day period who died on Texas ranches. The agents recovered the bodies after the migrants illegally crossed the border from Mexico near Carrizo Springs and Eagle Pass, Texas.

Mexican Migrants Rescued in Remote New Mexico Desert

The Mexican Consulate contacted U.S. Border Patrol officials in the El Paso Sector shortly after midnight on June 20 about a group of five migrants who became lost in the desert. The Mexican officials advised that a group of Mexican nationals needed rescue because they had no food or water.
