Just one day after five Dallas, Texas, police officers were shot dead by black militant Micah Xavier Johnson whilst policing a Black Lives Matter march, the British branch of the movement staged protests for three days on the streets of the capital.
University of Missouri assistant professor Melissa Click is out of work, fired by the school’s Board of Curators several months after she was captured on video calling for “some muscle” to physically intimidate a student journalist who was covering a campus protest.
Twelve people were arrested Monday in Hartford, Connecticut, for disorderly conduct after blocking traffic and access to the University of Hartford while chanting “Black Lives Matter!” Officers asked the protesters to stop sitting and standing in the roadway, and when they refused to comply, they arrested the anti-law enforcement agitators.
Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, a Democrat and former aide to Gov. Jerry Brown, has implemented a new policy for protesters who have held the city hostage in a slew of “Black Lives Matter” demonstrations over the past few months: No protesting allowed in the streets–only on the sidewalks.
