Charlie’s Angels director Elizabeth Banks announced this week that she will lead the new “Creative Council” of the Center for Reproductive Rights in an effort to promote Hollywood producers and writers, among others, to share stories that are “destigmatizing abortion.”
A Dover, New Hampshire art gallery will feature an exhibit titled “Normalizing Abortion: Self-Portraits and Stories,” the aim of which is to showcase the abortion experiences of local women.
“The goal of the program, according to the NNAF, is to show that young people who have had abortions are the experts on reproductive rights as well as the experts of their own experiences, and must be trusted with making decisions without anyone else’s permission,” the article says.
