Israel’s delegation to the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics received threatening emails referencing the 1972 Munich massacre, phone messages, and even fake invitations to their own funerals this weekend shortly before departing to France.
Germany and Israel’s presidents on Monday marked 50 years since the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre, which included a public acknowledgement of Germany’s role in the tragedy which saw 11 Israeli athletes killed by Palestinian terrorists.
Eighteen-year-old anti-Israel activist Ahed Tamimi, who gained prominence after a 2017 video of her assaulting an Israeli soldier went viral, joined the National Demonstration for Palestine in London on Saturday.
