Like I always say when the Carolina Thunderbirds face the Columbus River Dragons…well…just watch this video and see what happens when the Thunderbirds play the River Dragons.
The two teams of the Federal Prospects Hockey League clashed on Sunday, and it did not go well for the River Dragons. After putting up a football score of 7-3, the opposing coaches started arguing with each other and eventually one of the craziest fights you’ll ever see broke out.
As TMZ sports reports, “The whole thing starts when Thunderbirds coach Andre Niec and River Dragons manager Jerome Bechard challenged each other at center ice.”
After that, the players didn’t need much more encouragement to get involved.
Amazingly, despite the lopsided score and bench-clearing fracas, the game resumed. The Thunderbirds added insult to injury by tacking on two more goals, making it a 9-3 final.
At least eight different players were ejected, TMZ Sports reports.
