Always be ready for the unexpected, when it comes to live telecasts involving Bill Walton.
On Saturday night, Walton and broadcast partner Dave Pasch were calling a Pac-12 match-up between Arizona State and Washington. At one point, Pasch and Walton both held lit cupcakes in their hands. Pasch told Walton to “take a bite out of it while it’s lit.”
So, Walton did precisely that.

“I was kidding! I can’t believe it!” Pasch exclaimed.
Though, at this point in their partnership, Pasch probably should have known that Walton would have followed through with the dare, despite the craziness of it, or maybe because it was crazy.
