Chicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen — who is from Finland— jumped to Twitter on Sunday and posted a photo of himself holding a rake. In a tweet meant to troll President Trump’s recent comment about Finnish wildfires.

Markkanen tweeted, “Anybody need their floors raked? #FinnishRakingSeason:”

In a second tweet, the player added, “In all seriousness, please join me in supporting those affected by the California wildfires.”

Markkanen posted his rakish comment after the president noted that wildfires like those in California, don’t happen in Finland because that country conducts more sensible forest management policies.

On November 17, Trump scolded California for its failed management policies by comparing them to Finland’s.

“You look at other countries where they do it differently and it’s a whole different story,” Trump said according to the New York Times. “I was with the president of Finland and he said: ‘We have a much different — we’re a forest nation.’ He called it a forest nation, and they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things. And they don’t have any problem.”

Trump added that when Finland has forest fires, they are usually small and not very destructive.
