The Los Angeles Rams are planning to hold a moment of silence on Sunday, to honor the memories of those lost in the tragic shooting in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday.

The tribute will take place at the Los Angeles Coliseum, just prior to the Rams game against Seattle. The country bar where the shooting take place is very close to the Rams practice facility.

“Our organization’s thoughts and prayers are with the families and the victims that were affected by this terrible act that took place in our area,” Rams coach Sean McVay said.

Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth believes the team should take action, not just sit around.

“I just don’t believe that sitting there wondering is the best way,” Whitworth said. “Find a way to put your feet on the ground and take action and get involved in some way.”

A dozen people were killed and as many as two dozen others wounded, after a gunman entered a country bar in Thousand Oaks. The shooter then shot himself.
