Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing porn star Stormy Daniels, has proposed engaging in a charity Mixed Martial Arts fight with presidential scion, Donald Trump, Jr.
“I’m having lunch with Michael Avenatti…at the Vanity Fair Summit and he’s proposing a three-round mixed-martial arts fight with Donald Trump Jr….for charity,” said NBC News reporter Dylan Byers, The Hill reported.
It appears that Avanatti substantiated Byers’ claims because the attorney and self-proclaimed 2020 Democrat candidate for president said that the bout would be “great.”
Avenatti has already proposed how the take would be split, “My portion of the proceeds from the fight will be split 50% to rebuilding Puerto Rico and 50% to @RAINN. Just waiting on Bif to confirm.”
Don Trump, Jr., is not likely to join in with such huckstering, but he has been engaging with the porn star’s lawyer in another form as the two have been tussling on Twitter for months. Still, Junior had not replied to Avenatti’s suggestion before press time.
One of Trump, Jr.’s latest swipes at Avenatti concerns the attorney’s proclamations about a run for president. Trump joked that Avenatti’s running mate should be disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner who was convicted of sexual abuse.
For his part, Avenatti parried with a tweet saying that Trump should avoid talking about prison sentences.
