Former NFL Player Greg Hardy to UFC Heavyweights: ‘I’m Coming to Wreck Shop!’

Greg Hardy

Former NFL player and current MMA fighter Greg Hardy, has put the UFC Heavyweight division on notice. Specifically, Hardy wants his potential opponents to know that he’s, “Coming to wreck shop!”

In an exclusive interview with TMZ, that can be seen here. Hardy explained that he’s a “dangerous” man, with a goal of fighting on a major promotion in the near future.

“I’m hoping the top of next year,” Hardy told TMZ Sports.

The former Cowboy helped his chances of landing a major televised fight, by dismantling his opponent in just 53 seconds, at XFN 352 over the weekend. All three of Hardy’s wins have come in less than 60 seconds:

Hardy was awarded a UFC development contract over the summer, after an extremely impressive showing during “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.”

However, while Hardy has shown himself to be adept at dispatching less experienced competition. He knows that exposure on the national stage will mean tangling with championship caliber fighters such as Stipe Miocic, Daniel Cormier, and others.

“Dangerous names,” Hardy says … “real dangerous names right there.”

However, until that day comes, Hardy remains focused on putting the competition on notice.

“It’s dangerous for somebody to be in there with me. I want people to know that.”
