UFC champ Tyron Woodley had little sympathy for the parents of a boy who appeared in a viral video, talking about the bullying he suffers at school. In a TMZ video, Woodley said the boy’s that his parents are “trash” and he needs to get away from them.
Woodley went after middle school student Keaton Jones’ parents, saying the bullied boy’s father is an avowed “white supremacist,” who is currently in jail. Woodley also criticized the boy’s mother, after photos of her standing next to a Confederate flag turned up on the Internet.
The UFC fighter also criticized the bullied boy’s mother for a “cash grab” because of a GoFundMe account that may benefit the parents.
“What do you need money to fight bullying? You need mentors … you don’t need money,” Woodley exclaimed.
Woodley also said Keaton’s father, Shawn White, needs to “get the hell slapped outta him” because he is a white supremacist. The boy’s father has the letters “CWB” tattooed on his neck, initials that are reportedly street slang for “crazy white boy.”
The TMZ guest advised Keaton to get away from his parents. “He’s off to a pretty bad start,” Woodley said of the boy, “because both of his parents are some damn buffoons.”
In the same TMZ video, Woodley went on to advise people in street fights not to worry about seriously injuring an opponent. Woodley advised people fighting in the street to let an opponent fall to the ground after a knock out.
“Street fighters don’t understand this. When you hit somebody and knock them [out] let them fall by themselves. Don’t keep tussling around with them and messing up your knockout. Knock ’em out, let ’em hit, let the sack of potatoes drop and you walk away,” Woodley said with a smile.
The TMZ host noted that if you do that and your opponent slams his head hard on the concrete when he falls, then things could “be way worse.”
But, Woodley didn’t care about that. “When you fight I don’t think you thinking about protecting the other person,” he insisted.
