Nov. 21 (UPI) — The bye weeks are over and Week 12 is here. In most leagues, you are fighting for your playoff life with two games left in the fantasy football season.

Although this week’s waiver wire is a bit shallow, it’s still worth checking out for some last-minute depth. I don’t see many starters in this crew immediately, but be sure to grab them if you suffered any bad injuries in Week 11.

Although you might be excited about a new waiver wire pickup, be sure to carefully analyze your decisions before adjusting your roster. Now is not the time to move away from your stars when you need their consistency and production most.

Here are the players I’m targeting to add on my Week 12 waiver wire and some of the players I’m willing to drop.

ALL-ADD TEAM

QB | Jacoby Brissett, Eli Manning; RB | Samaje Perine, Damien Williams, Alex Collins; WR | Robby Anderson, Cooper Kupp; TE | Vernon DavisD/ST | Cincinnati Bengals; K | Blair Walsh

HONORABLE MENTIONS

QB | Josh McCownRB | Devontae Booker, Austin Ekeler; WR | Kenny Stills, Mike Wallace; TE | Tyler Kroft, Jesse JamesD/ST | Philadelphia Eagles

TOP DROPS

QB | Jameis Winston; RB | Thomas Rawls, Marlon Mack, Darren McFaddenChris ThompsonWR | Jordy NelsonTerrelle PryorTE | Hunter Henry

QUARTERBACK

Jacoby Brissett has thrown for multiple scores in three consecutive games. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback is a decent streaming option in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, but does have some tough games ahead. This is the time when you need to pay attention to your opponent’s roster as well. If they need a quarterback, they might be targeting Brissett. So go ahead and pick him up and play a little chess if you need to.

RUNNING BACK

The diamond of this week’s waiver wire is definitely rookie running back Samaje Perine. He took off for 117 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in Week 11 during his second NFL start. He will now get a ton of carries after the departure of Chris Thompson from this backfield. The Washington Redskins’ immediate schedule has some decent matchups, but this could get tough for the rookie during the playoffs, if you are lucky enough to get there. Perine is a low-end RB2 until further notice.

WIDE RECEIVER

Cooper Kupp is another play thrown into the spotlight because of an injury. The Los Angeles Rams will likely be without Robert Woods for multiple weeks due to a shoulder injury. This should result in more targets for Kupp. The rookie has matched his season high in receptions in back-to-back weeks, with six. Although he has just three touchdowns on the season, Kupp could find his way into a WR3 role down the stretch.

TIGHT END

Washington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis has at least 65 receiving yards in six of his last seven games. He is one of Kirk Cousins’ most trusted targets in the Redskins’ offense. He should also be picked up in leagues that have a tight end slot. You don’t see this consistency often at the position. If Davis can get into the end zone a few times down the stretch, he will be a mid-level TE1.
