The Kimber K6s is a snub-nosed revolver refined. It is a stainless steel .357 Magnum with a two-inch barrel, a six-round cylinder, and smooth, snag-free surfaces.
The snag-free aspects include the fact that the K6s has an internal hammer, so it can be drawn from a purse or pocket without fear of catching the hammer or keys or anything else, including the edge of the purse or pocket.
Kimber describes the K6s as having a “match grade trigger that creates confidence [which] helps to ensure accuracy.” This is not hyperbole. Breitbart News took the gun out and shot nearly 150 rounds through it this week. The gun is extremely accurate at distances of 18 and 12 yards — distances which are far beyond those in which a law-abiding citizen would normally have to employ a gun for self-defense.
The trigger literally lets the shooter feel the gun getting ready to fire. This allows a gun with a two-inch barrel to be fired with the accuracy of weapon that has a much longer barrel.
The K6s also has a Crimson Trace Laser contained in the grip. The laser is activated via the pressure of the middle finger wrapping around the handgun’s grip. The laser can be a life saver for a law-abiding citizen under duress.
Breitbart News is just starting its review of this firearm, and more information will follow. But for now, let it suffice to say the K6s is solid in the hand, incredibly accurate, and very concealable. It may be the snub-nosed revolver perfected.
