Announcer pairings for the upcoming NFL season have come out, and CBS has put together several interesting broadcasting teams.
Interestingly, CBS has placed Beth Mowins alongside former kicker and new analyst Jay Feely for a September 24th broadcast of the Lions and Colts. Mowins has called college games regularly for some time, while also handling Raiders preseason play-by-play duties.
Mowins will also become the first woman to ever broadcast a nationally televised NFL game on September 11th, when she calls the Chargers and Broncos on Monday Night Football. Most interesting, though, will be seeing how the recently retired Tony Romo works with veteran CBS lead broadcaster Jim Nantz.
Below, is the complete list of CBS broadcast teams for the upcoming season:
- Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson
- Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts and Evan Washburn
- Greg Gumbel, Trent Green and Jamie Erdahl
- Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon
- Andrew Catalon and James Lofton
- Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta
- Tom McCarthy and Steve Tasker and Steve Beuerlein
- Beth Mowins and Jay Feely
