TruGlo TFX Pro sights are night sights with fiber optics that glow during the day. This characteristic–together with a contrast in color for the front sight–mean sight acquisition has never been so simple, day or night.

In fact, once you put TruGlo TFX Pro sights on a handgun it feels like a different gun.

For example, Breitbart News put TruGlo TFX Pro sights on a Heckler & Koch VP 40, which is a formidable, top-of-the-line weapon by any measure. Besides the renowned H&K quality, the VP 40 is superb for the way it fits the hand and the way it almost points itself in the right direction when grasped. Yet even the H&K VP 40 was bettered by the TruGlo TFX Pro sights.

Now, when the H&K is drawn, the front sight is easy to acquire day or night and the rear sights glow green whether in the sun or in pitch dark.

The key to the TruGlo TFX Pro sights is the combination of Tritium night sight technology, fiber optics, and a color contrast that make the front sight stand out when the gun is raised to shooting position. The night sight technology works flawlessly and the fiber optics add a twist that helps set TruGlo TFX Pro sights apart from the crowd. Practically speaking, the fiber optics work so well that the TruGlo TFX Pro sights could be described as day sights. They are certainly a solution to a daytime situation in which a normal white dot on the front and rear sights will not suffice; a situation that one can find himself in if he has weaker vision or is shooting in a hot climate and dealing with sweat in his eyes (or both).

Ironically, the H&K VP 40 had to be drawn in a self-defense situation in the dark of of night while the TruGlo TFX Pro sights were being reviewed. Front sight acquisition in that setting was simple, which made it easy to quickly get the gun on target and deescalate the situation.

TruGlo TFX Pro sights are available for various makes and models of concealed carry handguns and sell for around $150.
