President Donald Trump declined the Washington Nationals invitation to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day. Given the message some protesters had waiting for him at the game, perhaps now we know why.
Protesters unfurled an enormous “Impeach Trump” sign at the Nationals game on Monday.
The Nationals defeated the Marlins by a final of 4-2, and will move on to play the second game of their opening series Tuesday at 6:05 EST. The Democrats lost to Trump by a final score of 306-232, and will apparently never move on.
