Joining the rest of the hyperventilating left with its spittle-specked, irrational hate of President-elect Donald J. Trump, serially-fired sportscaster Keith Olbermann now insists that Trump is a “puppet” of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the U.S. is “no longer a free people.”
Former sports commentator Olbermann, repeatedly fired by a growing list of cable news networks, has been reduced to airing his rants on a little-seen Youtube channel. Launched in October and sponsored by the leading meterosexual men’s magazine GQ, “The Resistance” brings Olbermann back to his MSNBC screeding shtick, and like most of the left-wing media the story of unproven Russian “hacking” of the November 8 election is foremost on his mind.
For his December 12th video, Olbermann excitedly claims that Russia has perpetrated a “coup” on America.
Calling for a “special prosecutor” to look into the unproven claims that Russia “hacked” the U.S. elections, Olbermann went on to hyperbolically insist that the U.S. has “lost a war” with Russia.
“We are at war with Russia, or perhaps more correctly we have lost a war with Russia without a battle,” Olbermann ranted. “We are no longer a sovereign nation. We are no longer a democracy. We are no longer a free people. We are the victims of a bloodless coup.”
The one-time sportsman went on to call anyone who opposes his claims “traitors to this country.”
Naturally, like all of his comrades on the left, Olbermann wants to use this fact-free claim that Russia hacked America’s election as a means to deny Donald Trump the White House.
“Permitting Donald Trump to assume the office of president reduces the chance that we will have any future elections. … January 20 will not be an inauguration but an end to the United States as an independent country,” he bloviated.
Olbermann called on President Obama to release all information on this mythic Russian meddling without noting that Obama himself insisted only two months ago that people should stop worrying about Russian interference in our elections.
In October President Obama held a press conference to dismiss any concerns that Russia was hacking the U.S. election.
