Sports agent Drew Rosenhaus on Tuesday terminated his contract with former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.

This makes it strike two for the troubled 2012 Heisman Trophy winner. In February Manziel’s agent Erik Burkhardt parted ways with the 23-year-old shortly after a disturbing weekend in Texas, where former girlfriend Colleen Crowley accused Manziel of beating her.

Rosenhaus’s decision comes on the heels of Tuesday’s announcement that the alleged assault will be presented to a grand jury on Thursday, with a decision likely by Monday. The Dallas County district attorney charged Manziel with domestic violence assault.

Cleveland.com reported in February that Crowley also told police that Manziel threatened to kill her and himself.

This incident, as well as a number of curfew violations and drinking episodes during the season, contributed to the Browns severing ties in March with the once heralded quarterback.

Certainly Manziel’s alleged early April escapades of trashing a $4 million rental house to the tune of $32,000 in damages—the landlord maintains that remnants of drugs were left in the house— played a part in Rosenhaus’ decision as well. On top of that, according to Fox News sources, at the recent Coachella festival the un-employed football player “arrived wasted, partied wasted and stayed wasted.”

Rosenhaus nevertheless gave Manziel some hope. He said he would reconsider representing Manziel if he enrolled in a substance abuse rehab facility within five days. Manziel spent 10 weeks in rehab after his 2014 rookie season. He opted to ignore Rosenhaus’s overture.
