Miko Grimes, the wife of Dolphins player Brent Grimes, is at it again, taking to Twitter to post another profane attack but this time it is against Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
Miko is well known for using Twitter as a weapon to attack those she feels have dissed her cornerback husband. During her husband’s nearly ten-year career Miko has slammed the Atlanta Falcons for supposedly mistreating her husband, railed that he didn’t win the MVP at the Pro Bowl, accused the NFL of sexism and greed, and even criticized the New England Patriots for dumping Vince Wilfork.
Her Tweets have also been laced with profanity and off color taunts. Recently, for instance, Miko got in a Twitter screaming match with members of the media during which she called them “f— boys” and said that she wanted to f— the sports writers “with magic johnson’s di*k.”
This week Miko has set her profane Twitter sights on the team’s quarterback, Ryan Tannehill.
After Sunday’s 18-12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Miko slammed the QB on Twitter saying, “I knew this qb stunk the minute we signed to this team but I tried to keep quiet so I didn’t discourage bae from believing in his team.”
Miko went on to tweet: “I should’ve known we were gonna lose when I heard we didn’t complete a single pass in two minute drills this week against the practice squad defense.” Then added: “My Column: how many people does Ryan Tannehill have to get fired before you realize he’s the problem.”
The Dolphins wife also slammed three of Miami’s sports writers, Adam Beasley, Armando Salguero, and Andrew Abramson, calling them the “triple A’s” and saying they have an “agenda” to destroy the team.
But it’s what Miko tweeted toward the end of her rant that really raised eyebrows.
At one point in her tirade she said, “its like tannehill ejaculates and drops a drop of jizz in yall mouth like a mother feeding her baby birds on her nest!”
That Tweet caused SliceMiami writer Josh Baumgrad to exclaim “Good Lord!”
“Apparently you’re not allowed to be critical of the Dolphins’ defense because her husband plays on that side of the ball, of course.,” Baumgrad added.
As ESPN notes, Miko Grimes is no retiring flower and was recently arrested on charges of battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct outside of Sun Life Stadium before a Bills-Dolphins game.
Ultimately interim Dolphins coach Dan Campbell said that he is not aware of any trouble between Brent Grimes and Ryan Tannehill.
“I’ve never sensed that there has been any animosity or disconnect between those two guys,” coach Campbell said. “That has never been an issue, and I still don’t believe it’s an issue.”
He also averred that Miko has a right to say whatever she wants. “Certainly my wife sometimes thinks different than I do,” he noted.
