Shortly before the Bills put the hurt on the Dolphins, Miami-Dade police tackled player wife Miko Grimes for a loss.
Prior to Sunday’s 41-14 Miami loss, police arrested the wife of Dolphins Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes. She allegedly gave the police several verbal straight arms after they instructed her not to go off-sides into a restricted area. The cops charged her with battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, according to the Miami Herald. According to YouTube, Mrs. Grimes’ offenses include foul language.
The Dolphins simply lacked the intensity and aggression of Miko Grimes on Sunday.
Unheralded quarterback Tyrod Taylor torched Miami’s secondary for three touchdowns on a 21-for-29 game passing. His 136.7 passer rating eclipsed Tom Brady’s and Peyton Manning’s on the day. In other words, Brent Grimes’ Sunday went from bad to worse.
Mrs. Grimes, a sports talk-show host by trade, remains one of the most outspoken wives in the league. Amid a several-dozen tweet barrage earlier this year, she declared: “The nfl is the S#!+TIEST, SHADIEST, DISRESPECTFUL professional sport in the WORLD!!! & as long as i breathe air, i will talk s#!+ about em!”
She appeared similarly outspoken, and profane, on Sunday. “Get off my f—ing back,” she told a female police officer holding her down. Wearing her husband’s aqua jersey while cuffed and face down on the ground outside Sun Life Stadium, Grimes repeated, “Are you f—ing serious?”
The cops reportedly pointed a taser at Grimes. Does that answer the question?
