The protracted contract talks between Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have finally come to an amicable resolution.
The quarterback agreed to a four-year, $87.6 million deal. That puts him slightly beneath the NFL paycheck elite but way ahead of the numbers on his rookie contract. He looked to make $1.5 million this season based on his rookie deal.
The deal features a $31 million signing bonus and $60 million guaranteed. The Seattle Seahawks open training camp today.
