Charles Barkley: Pull Final Four from Indiana Due to ‘Religious Freedom’ Law

On Friday, Charles Barkley released a statement criticizing Indiana for its Religious Freedom Act, which allows businesses to refuse service to gay and lesbian couples.

Barkley believes that if a state discriminates, big events such as the Final Four and Super Bowl should not be hosted there.

“Discrimination in any form is unacceptable to me,” Barkley declared. “As long as anti-gay legislation exists in any state, I strongly believe big events such as the Final Four and Super Bowl should not be held in those states’ cities.”

The 2015 NCAA tournament’s Final Four will be held in Indianapolis’s Lucas Oil Stadium on Apil 4-6. Lucas Oil Stadium is also slated to host the 2021 Final Four.
