You can’t make it up.
On Wednesday, the Huffington Post announced that former NFL player Donte Stallworth, a 9/11 truther who also once killed a pedestrian while driving drunk, will cover national security for the outlet.
Welcome to the team, @DonteStallworth! Donte will be joining HuffPost as a politics fellow covering national security

In 2009, the University of Tennessee alum killed a pedestrian while driving under the influence. After pleading guilty to manslaughter, he spent nearly a month in jail and was banned from the NFL for a year. He is also a 9/11 truther and a vaccine conspiracy theorist.
What could have attracted him to the elite media?
In recent years, he has been a prominent supporter of gay marriage and openly gay players in the NFL. That may have boosted his standing considerably in the mainstream and left-wing media worlds.
NO WAY 9/11 was carried out by “dying” Bin Laden, 19 men who couldn’t fly a damn kite. STILL have NO EVIDENCE Osama was connected, like Iraq

Stallworth was drafted by the New Orleans Saints and has played for the Redskins, Browns, Patriots, Ravens, and Eagles.
Update: Around 11:30am Thrusday, Stallworth said on Twitter he no longer feels the same way he did when he wrote there was “no evidence” that bin Laden was connected to the 9/11 attacks.
Just to be clear, I no longer feel the way I did in that tweet 5 years ago.
