TMZ Sports reports that V. Stiviano, alleged mistress to former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, is propagating a novel take on the noted womanizer: he’s actually gay.
Stiviano, battling with Sterling’s wife Shelly over Shelly’s claims that her husband bestowed cars and property on Stiviano that weren’t his to give, has filed a lawsuit claiming that the cars and property were a reward for being Sterling’s “beard.”
To make matters more interesting, Stiviano claims Shelly knew that Stiviano was acting in that capacity, with her lawyers writing that Shelly was “acutely aware of [Donald’s] sexual orientation and condoned same as well as acknowledged and approved [Donald’s] gifts of money [to Stiviano].” In the documents she submitted to the in L.A. County Superior Court, Stiviano argues that she was “not ever a sexual partner of Donald T. Sterling” and “believes that [Sterling] is a homosexual and enjoys sexual acts and or sexual congress with males.”
Stiviano’s documents also attest that Sterling’s gifts to her were his own, not community property. In addition to the lawsuit’s claims of Sterling’s sexual orientation, Stiviano is suing the Sterlings for defamation. She asserts that they slandered her publicly when they characterized her as a thief and claimed she embezzled money and property from Donald Sterling.
Stiviano is willing to settle out of court–for at least $10 million.
