Barbara Walters and ABC are reportedly in negotiations with Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for a 20/20 interview, according to a report in the New York Post.

ABC would not comment on the matter.

After TMZ released an audio recording of Sterling telling a woman not to bring “black people” to his games, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver fined him $2.5 million and banned him for life on Tuesday.

Sterling is reportedly staying in the penthouse of one of his buildings because he fears his Malibu home and his phones have been bugged.

The Clippers will play the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 in Los Angeles on Saturday.
