CBS’s Sunday coverage of the Masters reportedly drew a 7.8 overnight rating. As BigLeadSports notes, that is an all-time low for a non-Easter Sunday broadcast of the Masters.
Ratings for the Masters without Tiger plummeted all week compared to those of previous broadcats of the Masters. This was the first year since 1994 that Woods did not play in the Masters. Woods is recovering from back surgery and was immobilized.
