The totalitarian rules strike again in the NBA as Dallas Mavericks public-address announcer Sean Heath is suspended for two games for having the nerve to criticize the officiating during the Mavericks and Golden State Warriors on April 1.
How dare he question and criticize authority…..on TWITTER.
ESPN gathered the tweets that got Heath in trouble.
@nba Danny Crawford just blew a goaltending call and cost the Mavs a game. We will all be awaiting your apology. #pathetic

@EyeOnBasketball That headline should read: Danny Crawford buries Mavericks. Again.

@nba If you have the technology to get calls right, we’d all LOVE to see it implemented as soon as possible. These. Games. Matter. #thefans

@nba : The ONLY professional league in the US with the reputation that the games are rigged. Know why? Because of games like tonight. #shame

Wait. It gets better. The NBA said Heath was RIGHT! Goaltending should have been called with 16 seconds in the game. But who cares, right?
