Michel Sproles, wife of running back Darren Sproles, was not happy with the way the New Orleans Saints treated her husband. They promised to release him, but when teams expressed interest in him they decided to trade him instead.
She took to Instagram to express her outrage.

If a player is released, he can choose what team to sign with. This is what the Sproles family wanted and they showed their appreciation to New Orleans.

However, with a trade, the player does not have a say and to make matters worse Sproles learned about it online. He took it in stride when he spoke to ESPN’s Josina Anderson and did not go the lengths Michel did online.
“I don’t know where they would send me because I have no control over it and I want to be able to pick,” he told Anderson. “The good thing is none of the teams I’m told they’re talking to are terrible.”
The Saints traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles for a fifth-round draft pick.
