Denver-Seattle to Play in Marijuana Bowl I

Before Championship Sunday, marijuana advocates were rooting for a Denver-Seattle “Marijuana Bowl,” and that is exactly what they will get in two weeks at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Recreational marijuana is legal in Colorado and Washington and before the game, Allen St. Pierre, the executive director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, “joked that the game should be renamed ‘The Super Oobie Doobie Bowl'”

Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos defeated Tom Brady’s New England Patriots 26-16 in the afternoon game and the Seattle Seahawks knocked off the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 in a thrilling NFC title game to set up the first ever “Weed Bowl.”

As of this writing, the game is not scheduled to start at 4:20 PM eastern or pacific time.
