A conservative group will air ads in Texas during Thanksgiving thanking Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz for leading the fight against Obamacare. The ads will run during the NFL games and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on a dozen stations across the football-crazed state.

The Conservative Campaign Committee made the $50,000 ad buy for the following commercial. It says one man stepped forward to try to stop Obamacare before Americans got hurt by it even though critics tried to “silence” and “smear” Cruz. The ad thanks Cruz of withstanding the criticism and sticking up for the American people.

“Senator Cruz has clearly been vindicated in his efforts to stop ObamaCare from causing real harm to millions of Americans. Senator Cruz was right about ObamaCare, and Barack Obama was wrong, and now the American people know the truth,” said Lloyd Marcus, chairman of the group.
