Redskins Deny Rumors of 'Bravehearts' Name Change

The Washington Redskins denied that owner Dan Snyder is even considering changing the team’s name to the “Washington Bravehearts.”

“I just want to set the record straight for everyone listening, just to let you know that there is absolutely no connection between the Washington Bravehearts and the person that registered that trademark, and the Washington Redskins,” team spokesperson Tony Wyllie said. 

Wyllie also said Snyder does not even know the neighbor that registered the “Washington Bravehearts” name that has ramped up speculation about whether the Redskins would change their name.
