Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones, known for his speed and flare on the field, is facing an embarrassing report of his activities of the field. Jones, who has not played this season since a week-one injury, was reportedly partying with teammates after the Ravens’ 30-9 victory over the Texans on Sunday when a stripper broke a bottle of champagne over his head, causing a brawl to break out.
The team was partying to celebrate both their win over the Texans and offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie’s birthday. A stripper named Sweat Pea is allegedly responsible for breaking the bottle, reported to be a giant bottle of Ace of Spades, on the head of Jones. A witness stated that Jones was “bleeding everywhere.”
The fight broke out as a result of one of Jones’s friends attempting to retaliate against Sweat Pea for breaking the bottle and McKinnie stepping in between the two. No arrests were made as a result of the fight but this is certainly not the type of press the Baltimore Ravens would like their players generating.
