A legislator and co-chair of a state Athlete Agents Commission told Breitbart Sports Thursday night that he will propose that the NCAA take a one-year moratorium on sanctions to work with universities to stop rogue agents.

“The NCAA could have a situation where both teams would have to forfeit the same game in past match-ups between Alabama and Tennessee as well as Alabama and Mississippi State,” Jack Williams said.

Recent reports allege that Alabama’s Luther Davis (pictured) may have not only received benefits but acted as a middleman for players from Tennessee and Mississippi State.

Williams, who is also a Republican in the Alabama State House, will propose that instead of working through scenarios like that, the NCAA and Universities unite to identify and get rid of the real enemies – rogue agents.

During the one-year moratorium on sanctions, the Universities would be asked to come forward and reveal all that they know about any potential rouge agents to help the NCAA launch and advance investigations.

The Commission will next meet on September 25.
