USC wide receiver Marqise Lee knows he is in for a big pay day following the 2013 season. Now, he has taken out an insurance policy to assure that neither injury nor wounded draft stock would be able to stop the money from coming.
Lee, who had 104 yards receiving in a Week 1 contest against Hawaii, has insured himself for $10 million if he were to get injured. He reportedly also has obtained insurance for any scenario in which his draft stock plummets.
Teddy Bridgewater and Jadeveon Clowney are other notable 2014 draft prospects to get insurance policies. Johnny Manziel has said that he would get one as well. Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart are other notable USC Trojans that have obtained such policies in the past.
