Hernandez Writes Letter to Fan from Jail: 'Haters' Who 'Turned on Me Will Feel Like Crap'

Former Patriot tight end Aaron Hernandez wrote to a fan that God put him in his current situation, he would prove “the haters” wrong and everyone who “turned” on him “will feel like crap” once “they say NOT GUILTY.”

TMZ obtained a copy of the letter Hernandez recently wrote and verified its authenticity with authorities. The letter is undated but was mailed from the Bristol County House of Corrections in Massachusetts. Hernandez replied to a fan who had stayed in the same jail Hernandez is at 15 years ago. In the letter, Hernandez writes that he cannot wait to prove “all the haters and da talkers WRONG.”

“The world just makes things out of false accusations and it will all die down especially when they say NOT GUILTY and all the people who turned on me will feel like crap,” Hernandez wrote. “I know there is a reason I’m going thru this and I will figure it out through my relationship with the Lord.

“I fell off especially after making all that money but when it’s all said and done “GOD” put me in the situation for a reason! I’m humbled by this ALREADY and this will change me forever. At least I’ll know my true supporters. Thanks for being one of them!”

He also warns, “*Keep this off social media PLEASE!”

Hernandez is currently in jail, after having been denied bail twice, while awaiting his first-degree murder trial in the death of Odin Lloyd. He is under investigation for another unresolved double murder in Boston from 2012. Hernandez may have killed Lloyd because Lloyd revealed too much about what he reportedly knew about the 2012 incident. Authorities have searched a lake near Bristol, Connecticut this week for the murder weapon, which has still not been found.

The name of the person to whom the letter is addressed is redacted. The transcription is below:

Your letter meant alot and was very true! I know everything happens for a reason and I know “GOD” has a plan for me and something good will come out of this. The world just makes things out of false accusations and it will all die down especially when they say NOT GUILTY and all the people who turned on me will feel like crap. I’ve always been a great person an known for having an amazing heart! I am a strong person and nothing will break me! A C.O. will never nor can they say now for one day have I been down or not with a smile on my face. I know there is a reason I’m going thru this and I will figure it out through my relationship with the Lord.
