NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said on Thursday the NFL will not further penalize Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper for his N-word slur.

“We do not penalize at the club level and league level for same incident,” Goodell said. “We will not be taking action separately from the club.”

After Cooper was caught on tape using the slur, he apologized to his teammates on Wednesday. The Eagles fined him “a good amount” for his comments.

Cooper was caught on tape at a Kenny Chesney concert last month saying, “I will jump the fence and fight every (N-word) here, bro.”
