South Carolina Goes Old School: Sends Out Handwritten Release Clearing Clowney

When South Carolina informed reporters that start defensive end Jadeveon Clowney had been cleared of any wrongdoing regarding his meeting with Jay Z, the university’s athletic department did so in a handwritten news release. 

After investigating Clowney’s meeting with Jay Z, the school ultimately found Clowney did not receive “impermissible benefits” or engage in “impermissible conversations.”
